Saturday Club
The Saturday Club gives youngsters aged between 6 and 15 an opportunity to visit Sherwood Farm on a weekly basis and learn English whilst participating in a variety of activities and themes which run over the course of the month.
The upcoming Saturday Clubs follow a very celebratory theme and we can't wait to get started!
January and February 2022
Film Making in Nature
During the months of January and February, the children will get the unique opportunity to learn about how we can combine nature and technology.
Working with our partners at 'resifilms', the children will have access to ipads and will learn about how to film, cut, crop and edit short movies whilst being immersed in natural surroundings.
During the sessions the children will also have the opportunity to learn about how the world is changing and what we can do to make a difference, whilst referencing climate change pioneers, activists and Earth heroes such as David Attenborough and Greta Thunberg.

March and April 2022
Health and Fitness
Each Saturday during the month of March, the children will be focusing on health and fitness. The sessions will contain a variety of fun and challenging games, activities and sports whilst the participants will also learn the importance of rest, recovery and relaxation.

May 2022
Discovering Nature - Potting and Planting
During May, the children will be planting and preparing a variety of seasonal vegetables and flowers. The participants will be allocated a section of the Sherwood Farm garden and they will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of their plot throughout the month.
The participants will be invited back during the following months to harvest their crop!
